Fall Table Centerpieces
Centerpiece: Autumn Theme
I'm getting married in the Fall, so my theme is Autumn. We will be using pumpkins as our centerpieces. I'm going to simply tie raffia and thick, brown ribbon around the stalk and put the pumpkin on a platter of leaves painted gold. I will also scatter the gold painted leaves around the tables. ~ Submitted by Danielle, Willmar, MN
Centerpiece: Thanksgiving
We are going to use pumpkins, spray painted gold as our centerpieces.
Centerpiece: Halloween Jack-O-lanterns
We are getting married on Halloween and we're using Jack-O-lanterns for our centerpieces. About 2 or 3 days before our wedding we are going to have the wedding party come over for a pumpkin carving party! Our reception is going to be a costume party so what a great finishing touch, and inexpensive too! With all the different people carving the pumpkins we are sure to have many different faces! Then just put a votive candle inside and wala, you are all set! ~ Submitted by Colleen, Lancaster, PA
FUN-KINS
I am using FUN-KINS in my centerpiece. FUN-KINS are an artificial carvable pumpkin. They are great for the Autumn/Halloween themes. They can be carved or left as is for a more organic feel. We are carving Celtic love knots and my new last name in them. Everyone in the wedding party will receive one as a gift or token from us. They can be stored in their own boxes for years to come - my plan is to leave my out year round. ~ Submitted by Connie, Phoenix, AZ
Centerpiece: Floating Pumpkins
We're having floating candles shaped like miniature pumpkins and multi-colored leaves in clear glass bowls. We also bought strands of leaves to put around the bottom of the bowl. We're getting married next October so it will be perfect for our fall wedding! ~ Submitted by Maria, Attleboro, MA
Terra Cotta Pots with Mums
I am using sponge painted (off white) terra cotta pots with mums. I have a fall wedding theme, so they will be fall colored mums (wine, rusty orange, yellow & white). I will place the mum into the painted pot & top it off with some craft store moss. I will tie raffia or ivory tulle in a bow. Wa-la, for $8 bucks or less I have huge, colorful centerpieces that will last for months.~ Submitted by Kathy, Michigan
Artificial Pumpkins
My brother is having a wedding this fall, located in a barn. The bride is to wear a tea-length gown and, he is to be in jeans. Guests are to sit on hay bales and fall leaves and pumpkins are to adorn the ground. They purchased artificial pumpkins (FUN-KINS brand) to carve the date in and use every anniversary for decorations in their home. The food is BBQ ribs and corn on the cob. The theme is just perfect for my farmer brother and his down-to-earth wife-to-be. ~ Submitted by Kathy, Lebanon, TN
